About: Carmo Convent - Lisbon Under Stars

Carmo Convent, or the Convent of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, is a ruined Catholic convent in Lisbon, Portugal. Built in the 14th century, the convent was mostly destroyed by the historic earthquake which struck Lisbon in 1755.

Nowadays, its memory is preserved by an archaeological museum, and it was even featured in the Assassin's Creed video game series in 2014.
