The Walt Disney Family Museum has partnered with five wildlife sanctuaries and conservation organizations around the world for this special exhibition.
With ecological destruction on the rise, sanctuaries are working to save species and help enrich their lives outside of their natural habitats. One of the methods they employ is art. It's important to note, the sanctuaries involved in Creative Conservation do this solely as a means for their animals' enjoyment and not for profit and extortion as some sanctuaries might.
The abstract paintings and paw print art showcased in this exhibition have been made by leopards, tigers, chimps, and bears at four of the five partner sanctuaries. The animals had non-toxic paints and were able to create art with their paws, claws, snouts, and fur.
Proceeds from all the artwork sold will will go towards supporting their respective partner sanctuary.
