Es-senz is an exhibition that is part of the MUVE Contemporaneo series which presents a group of artists who have played a leading role in the creative season between the birth of the new millennium and today. A generation of significant exponents of the international contemporary creative scene who identify fragrance and olfaction as the sources of inspiration for their creations, authors who differ in culture and syntax but are associated by a common orientation that leads them to explore, each in their own way, an alternative creative dimension to the usual ones. Twelve olfactory installations, distributed throughout the rooms on the first floor of Palazzo Mocenigo, create an unusual journey, a multi-sensory pathway through which to virtually immerse oneself in the artists' reflections, usually expressed in other forms: plastic, pictorial, graphic or installation. And, as if art were ideally able to emanate its own perfume, the works on show will envelop the spectator in an extreme variety of fragrances with equally heterogeneous tones, as many as there are sensations they can evoke. The artists in the exhibition are: Mircea Cantor, Mateusz Chorobski, Jason Dodge, Bruna Esposito, Eva Marisaldi, Florian Mermin, Giuseppe Penone, Paola Pivi, Namsal Siedlecki, Achraf Touloub, Nico Vascellari, Luca Vitone.

Mocenigo Palace-Museum is a historic palace in the heart of Venice, which was bequeathed to the city in 1945 by Count Alvise Nicolò Mocenigo. The piano nobile (main floor) is home to historic fashion.

Visitors can also explore the many opulent rooms and see an exhibition on the art of fragrance - the perfect way to explore what was once Europe's capital of perfume.

The Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale in Italian) is one of La Serenissima's most iconic landmarks. The first Doge's Palace was built on this spot in the 9th century but was destroyed by fire. The Gothic palace that stands in St. Mark's Square today dates back to the 14th century. It has undergone many refurbishments and upgrades over the years. Since the 16th century, it's been linked to the New Prison by the (in)famous Bridge of Sighs.

An enormous monument enriched with history, art, religion, and culture – to say the least! St Mark’s Basilica is made of impeccable treasures, inside out, from the 'Pala d'Oro' behind the altar, adorned in precious stones to the four horses on the façade that symbolize strength and freedom.

The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is one of the most important museums in Italy when it comes to European and American art from the first half of the 20th century. It's located in Venice at Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, on the Grand Canal, in what was once Peggy Guggenheim's home.
