Gubałówka Funicular Station
Mount Gubałówka is one of the most popular places in Zakopane. Rising to a height of 1,123 meters above sea level, you'll be able to enjoy a beautiful panorama of the Tatra Mountains and practically all of Zakopane.
As early as in 1938, the top of Gubałówka was connected with Zakopane. It was originally built to help host the FIS World Ski Championships, which took place in the capital of the Tatra Mountains in 1939. The funicular to Gubałówka is 1,298 meters long, and the vertical rise is about 300 meters!
