Learn the moving history of the Hungarian Jewish community throughout two world wars and the Holocaust at the Hungarian Jewish Museum & Dohány Synagogue Complex with this time-saving fast track ticket.

The Hungarian Jewish Museum invites you in for a moving and educational experience in the Historical Jewish quarter, located in the heart of Budapest.

The museum stands in the same complex as the Dohány Street Synagogue, built in 1859, and this combo ticket lets you explore both.

In 1942, two forward-thinking museum employees hid the collection of priceless artifacts in the cellar to keep them from harm. Luckily, their bravery paid off, and you can now see beautiful Jewish artworks, artifacts, and memorabilia commemorating the Jewish community throughout the years.

The permanent exhibition highlights the importance of Jewish festivals and the Jewish life cycle. There are thousands of years of Jewish history to explore here.
