Train to the Clouds
The Train to the Clouds is a popular heritage train ride from Salta to the viaduct Polvorilla. The ride is one of the highest train journeys in the world, at times reaching more than 4,000 meters above sea level with bridges 63 meters above the ground.
Tours start from Plaza Antofagasta in front of Salta Station, located roughly five minutes' walk from Museo Pajcha in Salta, Argentina.
The train itself is boarded from Station San Antonio de los Cobres, a stop on the C-14 line in Argentina, and part of the route the Train to the Clouds takes. It is located at the southern end of the town of San Antonio de los Cobres.
