Gösta Serlachius Museum is an art gallery located just east of Mänttä, Finland. The former home of Finnish mountain man, forestry tycoon, and art patron Gösta Serlachius, the museum is surrounded by stunning natural scenery of lakes, forests, and gardens. Gösta Serlachius Museum is overseen by the Gösta Serlachius Fine Arts Foundation, an institution which is comprised of two separate museums: Gösta Serlachius Museum and Museum Gustaf. The first is a new wooden pavilion exhibiting Finnish and international contemporary art, while the latter is the original 1930s manor house showcasing a prestigious collection of Finnish Golden Age art and European masterpieces, including art by Claude Monet, Jean-Baptiste-Camille Corot, and Camille Pissarro. Together, they form the Serlachius Museums. Both museums are within three kilometers of each other, with a walkable path and easy shuttle transport connecting them.
