Normandy attractions

The striking Abbaye du Mont Saint-Michel is a medieval masterpiece situated in the city and island of Mont-Saint-Michel in Lower Normandy. It was one of the first UNESCO World Heritage Sites and remains a popular tourist draw. Built at a height of 80 meters, it offers jaw-dropping views of the coast and bay. The gator capital of Europe, Alligator Bay is a zoo located at the foot of Mont Saint Michel, home to over 700 creatures from across the continents. Specializing in reptilian fauna, the park is home to the largest collection of alligators in Europe, as well as a host of lizards, snakes, turtles, and crocodiles.
