Uxmal attractions

The Uxmal Ruins (pronounced Ush-mahl) are a UNESCO World Heritage Site where an ancient Maya city once stood. Located in the Puuc region of the eastern Yucatan Peninsula, the Uxmal Ruins are considered to be among the most important archaeological sites in Latin America. The remarkably well-preserved pyramid and decorative temples make for some of the most spectacular of any Maya cities.
