Sibiel attractions

The Zosim Oancea Museum of Icons on Glass is located in the village of Sibiel, and features the largest exposition of its kind in Transylvania. Full of religiously inspired glass artworks, the museum's icons are a unique combination of Orthodox Christian tradition and Romanian folk painting. It contains over 600 works of art, many of which were created by the region's most famous icon-painters.
