Originally opened in 1952 as a Fairytale Forest with cartoonish animatronics, Efteling has grown in size and stature to become one of Europe's premier themeparks. With rides, restaurants, and attractions it's a great day out. Delightfully, the Fairytale Forest is still there (and still full of wonders).
