New Orleans attractions

The National WWII Museum is located in New Orleans's historic Warehouse District, on Andrew Higgins Drive. Parking is available at the museum's multilevel parking garage, located at the corner of Magazine and Poeyfarre streets.

Oak Alley Plantation is a historic plantation which offers tours of the grounds to visitors. It's located on the west bank of the Mississippi River, in the community of Vacherie, St. James Parish, Louisiana, U.S. Oak Alley is famous for its picturesque alley made up of a double row of live southern oak trees which were planted in the early 18th century.

Famous for its above-ground mausoleum-style burial tombs, in which the bodies of several noteworthy New Orleanians are interred, St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is also noteworthy for being the future resting place of Hollywood actor and internet meme Nicolas Cage, who purchased a pyramid in the cemetery where he intends to be buried.

The French Quarter is the beating heart of New Orleans. Most NOLA visitors will find themselves strolling through it at some point, “go cup” in hand, admiring colonial-era buildings and soaking up bebop notes blowing out of old jazz bars. This popular district is also a central starting point of many cultural tours and experiences in the city, including the hop-on hop-off bus tour, and the creepy mule-drawn New Orleans ghost tour.
