View from Burj Khalifa by night
The Burj Khalifa is indisputably the tallest building in the world. It contains high-end homes, global companies, and of course, a swanky Armani Hotel. At 830 meters high, it's truly a testament to human ingenuity. Only the 124th, 125th, and 148th floor are open to the public. As you can imagine, the views from this shining beacon of progress in a desert by the ocean are pretty spectacular.

The Dubai Fountain is the gushing centerpiece of the manmade 30-acre Burj Khalifa Lake, which draws crowds to the middle of Downtown Dubai. In its full glory, it's illuminated by 6,600 lights and enhanced by 25 different colored projectors. The Dubai Fountain puts on a spectacular dance show of watery movements every day, during which streams reach up to 140 meters high, synched up to the sounds of music and flashing lights. It's one of the city's biggest tourist attractions!

Ski Dubai is a truly amazing place where you can enjoy winter sports in the blazing Arabian desert. The snow here is real – they cool to interior to -6° at night and produce the snow then - so every morning there's fresh powder! The result is a whole lot of fun (out of the sun). You can try out bobsledding, tobogganing and of course the absurdly fun Giant Ball. Where you literally get inside a giant plastic ball and roll down a gentle slope, you'll never need to be jealous of a hamster again!
